About Us

Palmer’s, previously named Airline Amusement Park, is a locally owned family business. When you bring your family out you’ll more than likely run into the owners Curt & Holli Hansen or their children: Hogan, Ana and Palmer. The family fun center was named after Curt and Holli’s youngest son Palmer. He was just a baby when they decided to purchase Airline Amusement Park. The oldest of the kids, Hogan, loves the driving range. Ana, the middle one, loves the Jumping Pillow, and Palmer loves everything. Curt spends the off season with his family.  You can often find him at the Cedar Falls Rec Center playing basketball with his kids or catching a Hawkeye game on the couch.  He really enjoys coaching youth basketball in Cedar Falls. When Holli is not working at Palmer’s Family Fun, she takes care of Palmer and keeps the house in order.

Curt worked at Airline Amusement Park for two summers while earning his Teaching Degree at the University of Northern Iowa. He loved the driving range and would spend much of his free time hitting balls – on AND off the clock. While he was teaching math and physical education in Grinnell and Marengo Iowa, Curt always said he would own a driving range. About 3 years ago, the Hansen family found out the Airline Amusement Park was for sale. Curt and Holli knew this was the opportunity they had been waiting for. It’s been an exciting adventure since then.
